“Ahoy, Captain Sid!” is a delightful pre-school show mixing puppetry, animation and music set in an imaginary world of pirates, hamsters and fantastic creatures.  Children will enjoy the enclosed DVD, “Patches Hatches,” the first adventure of Captain Sid’s crew, as they explore and learn about that episode’s theme of eggs.  

 

This show was recipient of a 2003 Pacific Southwest Regional Emmy award for editing, as well as achievement awards for animation and art direction.  We’ve made this award-winning show, which cost a good deal to produce, free of charge, in the hope that you will enjoy it, and tell your local television channel about it.  

 

Our hope is to reach as many local public broadcast stations like yourselves to build a grass-roots movement for “Ahoy, Captain Sid!”  We follow a similar model used by the “Barney” and “J.J. The Airplane” folks to build a national following and with your help, we believe we can reach that goal with this wonderful children’s show.  We hope you will climb aboard and join the movement!
